Foundation stone laid on 1 December 2023

The new COMU had been in planning for years, and on 1 December 2023, the foundation stone was finally laid.

That called for a celebration!

The foundation stone in the future foyer of the museum was filled with a pewter jug containing current coins, the latest edition of the Ammerseekurier newspaper, the museum design, a certificate and, as a personal addition, the wedding rings of Carl and Liselotte Orff.

In the finished museum, the foundation stone slab will feature a quote from Carl Orff's piece Astutuli be affected: Everything is imagination.
